Dear ipw reader,
the importance of paper as medium to convincingly convey a message has been challenged. The main difference and benefit of paper (as opposed to digital products) is that one can - literally - feel them; they have a haptic quality. To highlight this unique quality, the magazine Paperazzo (which targets marketing managers, creative agencies, product developers, end-users, etc.) has created an annual award – the Paperazzo Haptic Award. Included is a special prize for the best paper. If you have helped produce one, please tell us about it! The awards ceremony will be held in Frankfurt on October 10th, during the Frankfurt Bookfair. The deadline to submit an entry is on July 1st and for information about sponsorship opportunities please click here. We urge you to participate or to sponsor this event as it helps support the benefits of paper to those deciding if paper or an alternative should be used. More information (press release, photos of last year’s event, etc.) can be found at www.paperazzo.de. See you at Printtek in Istanbul, your ipw team PS: The ipw Zellcheming issue is approaching. To be present with an advertisement contact us at jpf@ipwonline.de or +49 (0)69 94415084. Also interested in the daily issues? We have something special planned... |
