Valmet to supply an upgrade of the washing process area for Stora Enso's Heinola fluting mill
Valmet will supply an upgrade of the washing process area for Stora Enso's Heinola fluting mill in Finland with the TwinRoll Evolution wash press (TRPE). The upgrade will improve the Heinola's Neutral-Sulfite Semi-Chemical (NSSC) line washing, which will result in a better product quality and strengthened competitive position. › more |

The Supervisory Board of Voith GmbH has appointed Andreas Endters as Chairman of the Board of the Group Division Voith Paper as of 2017-10-01. He thus succeeds Bertram Staudenmaier who will be leaving the company at the end of this year upon his own request. › more |

Delfort Feurstein awarded an order for Wedge
Austrian specialty paper group Delfort has placed an order for Wedge for their Feurstein mill. The system will be the second Wedge to Delfort Group. Process Diagnostic System was delivered in May. › more |

Valmet to rebuild Alas Dorada's tissue machine in Alas Doradas, El Salvador
Valmet has been trusted as supplier for the rebuild of Alas Dorada's PM4 in El Salvador. The main target for the rebuild is to raise production capacity by increasing press dryness, and enable improved paper quality as a second stage. This will be achieved by installation of an Advantage ViscoNip press combined with an Advantage ReDry web heater. The start-up of the rebuilt machine is scheduled for end of the year 2017. › more |

Andritz has signed a contract for acquisition of Paperchine, Inc., owned by AstenJohnson Holdings Ltd., headquartered in Charleston, SC.
