Procemex to supply web monitoring and inspection system to SCA Obbola, Sweden
Procemex, a new Andritz Group member has received an order from the Swedish paper mill SCA Obbola to supply a OnePlatform Web Monitoring & Inspection System for their PM2, the world’s largest high quality kraftliner machine. PM2, which started up in November 2022, is 9.6 m wide and has a design speed of 1,400 m/min and a production capacity of 725,000 t/y. The scope of supply also includes Automatic Target Control for the machine’s winder. › more |

Change in the management of GAW technologies GmbH
The worldwide active and tradition-rich industrial plant engineering and construction company, GAW technologies GmbH (based in Austria), announces a change in the management active since July 2024. After more than 21 years with the company, including eight years in management, Wolfgang Senner is leaving GAW because he is centering his life back to his native country Germany. Together with Nina Pildner-Steinburg in the lead and the entire staff, the generational change has been effectively managed in recent years and the company has been prepared for a stable future. › more |

Voith to supply MasterJet Pro headbox for North American paper manufacturer
Voith will supply a MasterJet Pro F/B headbox for a paper manufacturer in North America. The new headbox with ModuleJet dilution technology will enable optimization of paper production and ensure greater efficiency and optimized production quality. Andritz supplied key equipment for woodyard and fiberline upgrade to Mondi Kuopio
International technology group Andritz has provided key equipment for a new hardwood Neutral Sulfite Semi-Chemical (NSSC) production line and for a woodyard upgrade to packaging and paper producer Mondi at its containerboard mill in Kuopio, Finland. This delivery is part of Mondi’s expansion and upgrade project at the mill, which produces high-quality semi-chemical fluting, primarily for food packaging. › more |

Sappi Ehingen awards GAW with an order to increase production efficiency
Sappi has awarded GAW technologies with an order to increase the efficiency of production processes - in detail to expand the storage of starch as well as a retrofitting / boosting of efficiency for pigment tanks at its Ehingen mill in Germany. The order also includes several safety technical audits of existing silos. The equipment deliveries are scheduled for the end of this year and beginning of 2025. › more |
