Eurosac and Cepi Eurokraft recently joined the Paper Sacks Go Circular Spain alliance. The alliance unites about 50 European companies from the whole value chain. They share the common interest to promote efficient industrial waste management and achieve a circular economy in recycling paper sacks and other construction waste. Among others, they have established a well-functioning process for the collection and recycling of paper sacks.

Toscotec has started up a high efficiency TT SteamBooster steam generation system at one of the AB Grigeo Group’s mill UAB Grigeo Tissue in Grigiskes, Lithuania. The new TT SteamBooster was implemented into the hood and steam systems of their PM6, a Toscotec-supplied Ahead tissue line that came online in 2015.

Indian producer Gayatrishakti Tissue has started up a complete Ahead tissue machine supplied by Toscotec at their facility in Vapi, Gujarat state. With this successful start-up, they have entered the Indian tissue market. The Ahead tissue machine has a sheet trim width of 2,850 mm, an operating speed of 1,800 m/min, and a production of over 35,000 tpy. It features Toscotec’s first-class drying configuration including an upgraded design shoe press TT NextPress, a third-generation design TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer, and high-efficiency TT Hood.

Owens Corning has signed the takeover document for its new Fort Smith glass non-woven production line. This means the world's highest-performing non-woven line is now in production. The machine includes the most extensive layout Voith has ever created for a glass non-woven production line. The scope of delivery includes the forming, binding and drying sections.

International technology group Andritz has received an engineering order from US textile recycling innovator Circ in anticipation of its first large-scale textile recycling plant. The plant will be the first to recover cotton and polyester from blended textile waste.
