On the occasion of the anniversary, employees and their families were invited to view the production in the so-called screen element center. After an official reception, the visitors were able to review the past 20 years of manufacturing through a chronicle of photographs: from the beginnings of manufacturing with the C-bar screen basket and the first employees to current production of a comprehensive product portfolio. In addition, the employees were able to show their families their workplace and thus also the individual manufacturing stations. Monitors replayed films about how the individual systems function.

Manufacturing began in 1992 with the production of C-bar screen baskets. The largest of these screen baskets to leave the plant is 2.3 m high and has an inside diameter of 1.8 m. Currently Voith Paper manufactures all the screen elements that are in demand on the market. Thus along with slotted screen baskets, hole screen baskets and screen plates are also produced.

The manufacturing technology is being continuously developed to ensure a high level of precision in slot widths and the roundness of the screen baskets. Work is ongoing to increase the throughput of the screen elements.
